Our emerging technologies team, within India Consumable organization, is looking for a passionate, motivated, and determined Technical Program Manager to join our team to help invent the future. What we do: – Amazon pharmacy team is focused on fulfilling customer needs around OTC and prescription medicines across all convenience channels. . We strive to create simple experiences using latest technologies that remove friction and obstacles for customers even if it requires heavy lifting from our end. . We ensure the highest levels of security and privacy for our customers. Our decisions reflect our customer’s expectations about how Amazon will treat their sensitive health information. . We empower our customers to be owners of their health by improving information, availability and removing complexity in understanding their health. Key job responsibilities . Work from the customer backward to develop product strategy, product definition . Manage products through initial launch and follow-on releases . Provide innovative thinking and recommendations to shape Amazon’s pharmacy business. . Write business cases and produce financial models for key strategic projects. . Help define and drive the overall product strategy and roadmap. . Provide a strong sense of ownership and focus on execution. . Define and manage the success metrics for products or services and track performance. . Work across teams in a dynamic environment made up of business leaders, other product leaders, engineers, business development leaders, partners and, most importantly, customers. Basic Qualifications : . 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams . 2+ years of technical program management experience . Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications : . Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary general manager / owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive . Previously held a technical leadership role for several complete large-scale projects . Experience with Agile (SCRUM, RUP, XP), OO modeling, web services . Experience mentoring and training the engineering community on complex technical issues . Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, and a consideration for scale, efficiency and performance . Track record of delivery . Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills
