Technical Lead Job Description:

We are looking for a techincal leader who has at least 10+ years of experience working on medical software/firmware development including solution/system architect experience.

The candidate should have:

  • At least 7 years’ hands-on experience in developing software for Linux-based and RTOS-based embedded systems, microprocessors, microcontrollers in an industrial/medical/commercial setting
  • Broad medical or similar device development experience (end to end: protos, design engineering, risk management, requirements, and traceability,
  • Knowledge of certifications and standardizations in healthcare domain
  • Experience with End-to-End solution design, including Apps, products, and Cloud Services.
  • Strong hands-on experience using tools/IDE on ARM platform
  • Software languages and Tools: C/C++, Python, Bash, GIT
  • Experience using repos such as GitLab and Bitbucket
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Must have strong understanding of systems engineering concepts and processes such as requirements management, system modeling, and verification/validation
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Be capable of using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, and power supplies for debugging embedded platform
  • Bluetooth practical experience highly desirable.
  • Familiar with IoT protocols (MQTT, RabbitMQ, etc.) and communication to the cloud.
  • Exposure to ISO/IEC standards, CE submission support, manufacturing transfer)

Responsibilities:

  • Design software systems while determining design choices, technical standards, platform, and coding standards.
  • Includes defining and documenting the system architecture from a software perspective
  • Propose, implement, adhere, and be an advocate for flexible-professional-level SW processes
  • Provide inputs on improving existing implementations, tools, and methods.
  • Generate technical documentations supporting design choices with reports and diagrams.
  • Architect/Design software solutions. Exercise excellent judgment in developing and re-using code.
  • Work with other development teams within group and Analog Devices
  • Communicate regularly, and effectively with multi-geographically located teams. Advise on HW/SW architectural choices and implementation. Manage the technical system-level aspects of projects
  • Travel: As needed on occasion

Qualifications

Must possess at least a Masters degree in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science with at least 10+ years’ industry experience in medical firmware development,debugging, managing projects and customer enabling experience
