Position: Analyst / Sr Analyst: Applied Digital Marketing Communications Job Location : The position is based on Shared Business Services, Bangalore, India. About the role: The Specialist/ Sr. Analyst – is responsible for writing and managing content development for print and digital communication channels in collaboration with the global campaign management teams and in accordance with established content strategy for the Biomonitoring (BioM) and Lab Water Solutions (LWS) franchise of the Applied Solution division of the life science business of Company. Essentials of the job function: Execution Create content for global print and digital marketing communication channels (brochures, emails, flyers, video storyboards, social media, press releases, product announcements, infographics, internal communications, tradeshows, webinars) for the BioM and LWS franchise. Work in close collaboration with Marcom Managers (Global & Regional), Product Managers and Segment Marketing to advise on content strategy to ensure accuracy and relevance of content. Digest complex scientific subject matter and communicate it in a clear and concise manner, using the appropriate ‘voice’ for our customer segments, and write scientific narratives from data obtained by R&D, product validation, and applications scientists. Apply best-practices for a range of tactics, including electronic direct mailings, search-optimized web pages (SEO), and keyword analysis. Develop content that is aligned to Company and brand messaging, positioning and tone of voice. When requested, manage additional internal and external service providers and editors supporting content development. Reporting Review content effectiveness KPIs with Marcom Managers (Global & Regional), Product Managers and Segment Marketing to adjust content and tactics Act as content librarian for responsible areas to ensure proper tagging and curation Who you are: Master’s or PhD in Life Science or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field with life science experience and strong interest in healthcare/health science, biology, chemistry or related scientific fields. Minimum 3-5 years experience in related areas in Marcom writing Experience in content writing, preferably MarCom content for life science. Preference for working knowledge of SEO, keyword research, web analytics, and other digital marketing communication strategies. Excellent fluency in English language with demonstrated superior writing, copyediting, proofreading and research skills. Ability to work with diverse, cross-functional and global teams. Proactive, collaborative team player with good interpersonal communications skills. Ability to work with junior/equivalent colleagues and communicate with Company’s scientific community and management. Strong project management and organizational skills results and detail oriented. Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously focused on on-time delivery under time constraints.
