Job description: Advertisement for the post of Scientist-3
Applications are invited for a position of Scientist-3 (Based on the qualification provided below) at YRG care, Chennai. The selected candidate will initially work at HIV-AIDS Laboratory, MBGU, JNCASR(Bangalore).
Essential qualification: Candidate must have 4-7 years post-doctoral experience, a minimum of 4 years residency, and a first-class degree in (MSc or ME/MTech or MBBS/M Vet Sci, or Ph.D. or equivalent). Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English are required. The age limit is 37-39 years.
Pay Scale: INR 12,000 – 16,500
Roles and Responsibilities: Planning and conducting experiments, Recording and analysing data, carrying out fieldwork, collecting samples, presenting results to senior/other research staff, writing research papers, reports, reviews and summaries, demonstrating procedures, preparing research proposals and funding applications/bids, supervising junior staff including technicians, organising product/materials testing, ensuring that quality standards are met.
