Job description: – Responsible for maintaining and improving the overall pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical operations within the laboratory. – Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management System and Quality Policy within the laboratory. – Accountable to ensure that sufficient resources are available to provide medical laboratory services, that meets the end requirements of the users. – Implementation of a safe laboratory environment in compliance with good practice and applicable requirements. – To ensure the provision of clinical advice with respect to the choice of examinations, use of the service and interpretation of examination results. – Selection and monitoring of referral laboratories and monitoring the quality of their service. – Addressing complaints, requests and suggestions from the staff/ users of laboratory service (s). – Designing and implementation of a contingency plan to ensure essential services are available during emergency situations. – Responsible for liaison with external parties such as certification bodies and consultants. – Authorized to issue, review and amend the Quality Manual. – Authorized to release patient reports and issue amended reports. – To handle patient & doctor queries for the report released ensuring they resolved smoothly Person Specification : – Preferably from Pvt Labs/ Hospitals – Previously worked in NABL Lab – Trained in ISO 15189 – Should hold keen interest to work in a Corporate Laboratory set – up – Excellent communication skills with a sound knowledge in the domain of expertise (ref:biojoby.com)
