Job description: 1. Ensure the medical centre uses correct protocols and runs in an effective and appropriate manner taking utmost care of patient requirements within the applicable framework2. Ensure smooth administration of all medical, non-medical, administrative requirements of the medical centre 3. Interact with clinical heads to discuss problems in patient care and design solutions.4. Ensure that the hospital has adequate physician coverage at all times and backup coverage to cover for vacations, sick leave, and other leaves of absence.5. Use QA/QI techniques to maintain and continuously improve the quality of care and hospital safety.6. Work with the nursing and medical team to ensure the checklists and protocols are up to date and as efficient as possible.7. Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.8. Responsible for implementing hospital/centre policies amongst various medical units.9. Assist in formulation of hospital policy, particularly concerning medical services.10.
