Job Description: Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices is recruiting for Head of Professional Education, J&J MedTech India, located in Mumbai This is a key position in Johnson & Johnson Medical India Leadership team. This position is responsible for developing and leading the learning strategy in India for Health Care Professionals including development of learning continuums, designing customized hybrid modes of education to enable access, forging external partnerships, and deploying new technologies and learning plans that will guarantee the flawless deployment of the medical education strategies & concepts developed in collaboration with the regional team and JJMI Business teams. The role requires a deep understanding of the clinical educational environment across India and regions to develop a Professional Education strategy and execute on a portfolio of offerings / courses that will advance patient outcomes. Role Overview: Builds the full JJMI strategy for Professional Education in close partnership with the Business unit leaders and marketing teams in line with the business priorities. Responsible to roll out Professional Education strategy to support procedure development and skill enhancement of Health Care Professionals related to the safe and effective usage of the JJMI products. Develops new ideas & innovative approaches for digital learning, remote learning, and new generation learning methods for HCPs as JJMI pivots to MedTech Enables strong collaboration with multiple internal and external partners to assess and leverage innovative training technologies and models to meet Professional Education strategy objectives. Collaboration with key Medical Societies including the AO Foundation relationship, Teaching Institutions, Academicians and thought leaders to shape Medical education for surgeons. Ensures competitiveness of Professional Education team through timely talent rotations from and to commercial teams, creation and deployment of individual development plans for all the team members, and effective career conversations throughout the year Responsible to define local business needs for HCPs, to develop a detailed year planning, to allocate the optimal resources, to manage implementation, to track progress and to provide continued measurement of impact & results Responsible to plan, coordinate and manage with his/her team flawless implementation of all Professional Education activities with HCPs in India for all JJMI franchises. Leadership responsibility for assuring necessary tools, policies and procedures are developed and integrated to support and comply with all legal, regulatory and HCC policies for professional education solutions. Provides technical support and information to the internal Sales / Marketing. Qualifications Education: MBBS, MS/DNB (General Surgery or other Surgical specialties) , BDS Experience and Skills: Minimum 10 years’ experience in leading businesses, with proven ability to understand business strategy and translate it into education solutions (Professional, Commercial and Marketing Education) that support the company’s business goals is required Excellent communication, analytical, conflict management, complex project management, people management and development skills are required High technological and business aptitude is required Medical ethics and compliance. Analytical abilities and solution orientation and proven ability to manage complexity & thrives in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances Strong ability to embrace innovation and drive new thinking in the rapidly changing Healthcare Environment Strong organizational leadership, with ability to inspire and mobilize different business units and functions in a matrix environment.
