Job Description : Be responsible for retail medical underwriting Evaluate medical, financial, and non-medical information to determine the risk classification according to company guidelines Reviews evidence on proposal forms, pre-policy medical check-ups, Tele-MER, and past medical records to appropriately recommend taken decisions on issuance (standard or altered terms) or declinationas per authority matrix Perform Tele-underwriting and gather clinical information necessary to take prudent underwriting decisions. Communicate with Medical vendors to ensure the timely completion of medical testing and gathering of medical histories Work with the various internal teams as a SPOC of Underwriting in the process of designing workflow for retail customers would be responsible for documenting underwriting requirements. Conduct market research/ market requirement study on Underwriting practices and availability of products and benefits. Desirable Skills : . 2-5 years of Medical Underwriting experience in Health Insurance Education/Qualification:MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS
