Job description: The Position
Following are the key responsibilities that need to be carries out for this role.
- Increase penetration vs potential of top HCPs by brand in the Cluster (Oncology, Neuro and Ophthal portfolio)
- Institutionalize SOC protocols in key strategic accounts
- New partnership established with at least 2 eco-systems (State Health + any 1 reimbursed account) & 2 corporate accounts on patient journey/ health system hurdles in 2021
- Build capability building plan for at least one health system for Oncology with demonstrated patient outcomes and published PoC (Proof of Concept such as publication/ white paper for subsequent policy change argument for scale up in other ecosystems)
- Identify gaps from patient journey maps by individual HCP and engage at least 10 Tier 1 & 2 HCPs with services addressing patient journey/ health system hurdles
- Design and implement at least one effective PSP to increase access or adherence to Roche Innovation in the cluster (value added services beyond FOC) for rare condition assigned
- Complete and validate the patient journey mapping, stakeholder list and potential estimation for all new products at least 4 months before launch in collaboration with the Insights partner
- Create clinical advocacy for new launch among influencers (KOLs) and implement the opinion Cascade Plan
- Single Point of Contact: medical and scientific needs of Cluster HCPs / other stakeholders
- Maintain knowledge of, and generate relevant insights into, ecosystem, clinical practice and relevant product content
- Bring customer insights/ knowledge/ needs from field into cluster and TA squads
- Develop and execute medical engagement plans various stakeholders e.g. TAE, other HCPs, access stakeholders, patients, internal stakeholders
- Drive belief shift for Roche innovation, including value of innovations vs NCBs
- Drive key medical projects for the states and work closely with Medical experts for assigned Disease area (Ex: evidence generation, clinical ecosystem initiatives, digital initiatives, Advisory Boards, Congress Symposiums and any other medical meetings)
- Provide Medical / Product training for sales, marketing, market access or other internal personnel
- Respond to unsolicited queries from HCPs in accordance to local laws, regulations and codes and Roche SOPs, facilitate their needs of up to date scientific data, including but not limited to publications of clinical trials, guidelines, preparation of scientific presentations, providing support to the speakers on the development of contents, by ensuring they have the best quality available information they require
- Serving as the scientific bridge and point of contact with the TAEs/ investigator for IIS & Publications, and supporting Roche sponsored trials including enhancing the site’s performance and quality
- Understanding and acting in line with legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice (such as Roche Code of Conduct and any other directives, SOPs and guidelines)
- Inform Local Safety Responsible of safety issues according to Roche safety SOPs; and provide scientific support and follow-up on product safety issues

- Complete scientific knowledge of the assigned therapeutic area/ product.
- Demonstrated ability as a medical expert in a complex matrix environment
- Knowledge exchange/ data communications skills that leads to KOL engagement in a scientific manner. Ability to develop a strong professional network with TAEs & relevant external stakeholders of the assigned region/ state.
- Good network of relevant TA HCPs in the state.

- Ability to capture/ interpret customer insights and convert them into relevant strategies
- Understanding of clinical trial design and biostatistics

Eligibility Criteria (Qualification and Experience)
Qualification:
Medical Degree required – MBBS, MD / DNB (Any Specialization)
Any Disease relevant Medical Education will be preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience of minimum 1.5 yrs within the Medical affairs of pharmaceutical industry or clinical experience in the Oncology field is preferred
- Experience in relevant therapeutic area strongly preferred
- Overall experience of more than 4 years including clinical experience is preferred.
- Experience in the principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation, and assessment of clinical relevance for the purpose of understanding and communicating clinical study results
- Experience in delivery of scientific presentations
- Relationships with TAEs, other thought leaders, and external professional, disease, and research organizations is strongly preferred
- Project management ability
- Proven experience in working with multidisciplinary teams an asset
- Relevant therapeutic area, Local laws, regulations and Codes of Practice
- Appreciates the diversity of working with multidisciplinary teams
- Computer literate (MS office, Google, etc.)
- Fluent English & national language knowledge, written and verbal
