Every week, we process hundreds of thousands of pages of documents, saving our customers hours and hours of manual processing time, and helping them process medical claims much more quickly.As a Medical indexing Specialist, you will have ownership of comparing key pieces of information and ensuring 100% accuracy of that information. In cases where the AI has not selected the correct option, you will be required to make the correct decision and make the edits within our system

In addition, you will:
- Review work queues to retrieve scanned documents.
- Access and review each scanned document and review and compare the required indices, such as medical document type, provider name, date, and other indices, which may apply.
- Review and summarize medical information such as physician Statements, lab reports, exams, progress notes, emergency department notes, office visits and/or other related underwriting information consistent per client specifications
- Detect, Interpret, and update the treatment related information from the case of the patient which enable to convert physical health information into medical summary
- Work closely with our Clinical Operations team and our QA (Quality Assurance) team;
- Directly contribute to our software training and machine learning procedures;

About you:
You are detail oriented, efficient, and have an elevated level of understanding when it comes to navigating medical information. We are looking for people who are self-starters, results driven and can ensure high quality documents within a timely manner to achieve our customers’ expectations. You will also be technical savvy and have experience entering data into a software tool in real time.
Requirements:
- Completion of a related program in Health Studies;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with medical documentation and summarization
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and medical record documents in English.
- Access to a computer and high-speed internet. This is necessary as your work will be completed electronically. Your download speed must be minimum 35 mbps and have an AWS (Amazon Web Services) round trip time of under 125.
- Able to maintain focus and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Technical skilled including high proficiency in typing in software tools and Slack
- A team player who loves to collaborate – you understand that giving/getting feedback is crucial in your development and growth;
- Must be able to work 8-hour shift, where most of this will be sitting and typing
- Day shift = 11 am – 7 PM IST
- Night shift = 5PM – 1 AM IST
- Overnight shift = 10 PM – 6 AM IST
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and utilize SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and training documentation and to differentiate between medical record documents.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment
