If you’re passionate about developing your career, while helping others along the way, come join the Broadridge team.Key Responsibilities Build, organize and mentor a global team of software engineers, automation engineers, SRE/ Devops and QA resources to execute the strategic product roadmap Manage critical technology project priorities and deadlines Work with product owners, UX, and other business partners to manage the pipeline of engineering deliverables Partner with other teams to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design, and to set aggressive but achievable timelines and targets Partner with security partners to ensure applications are developed with the strongest security patterns Champion software engineering best practices including but not limited to design, architecture, performance, testing, quality, scalability, and security Ensure that product architecture and technology decisions support emerging trends, business strategies, and future direction of products. Provide technical & functional guidance Lead DevOps and Test-Driven Development processes. Champion the culture, processes, and tools required to maintain a low-friction high-quality software engineering environment. Key Requirements BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Minimum of 12 years of professional technology experience to include strong skills in developing, testing, and releasing complex software into production. Minimum of 8 years of experience leading software development team(s) including integration Experience in an engineering leadership role building and leading a geographically distributed team, including a mix of onshore and offshore resources Passion for product excellence and experience working in organizations with strong collaboration between Engineering, Product Management, Security, Operations, and other essential business functions Experience in designing and building enterprise grade products with rich extensibility, configuration and integration capabilities Experienced in the successful running of an Agile Product Engineering organization Technical knowledge and the ability to uncover root causes of complex technical problems and to provide guidance on solving them Experience in modern build and release practices, Scrum, and DevOps Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS) and experience in migration to public cloud Based in Ireland or looking to relocate to Ireland. Desirable Deep understanding of .NET, Angular, or other front-end/back-end languages and frameworks as well as API architecture Strong proficiency in database systems and design, especially MS SQL Server Conversant in common Internet technologies and protocols (HTTP, SSL, OAuth, REST, JSON, XML, SAML 2.0, etc.) Experience in developing applications with strong security requirements Experience in debugging, diagnosing, and trouble-shooting complex, production software Previous experience in the Wealth Management domain. #LI-Hybrid #LI-D 1
