One of the spearheads of TÜV Rheinland is international market authorization and certification of electronic and wireless products and to strengthen our Team Electrical in Bangalore.
Team Lead – Technical Operations
Tasks
Operational Excellence:
- Developing & Managing Technical Operations through self-sustaining mechanisms, for Safety Testing & Certification Projects of Electrical Products.
- Engineering Technical Operations of various standards in form of check-lists and decision trees.
- Establishing & Optimizing the project plan & engagement model between multiple stakeholders in the lifecycle of the Testing & Certification Project
- Setting up training modules to fast track on-boarding of new resources and cross skilling of existing resources to create an efficient technical management process.
- Building up redundant local resources with technical qualifications to reduce global dependency on technical project management.
- Setting up mechanisms to replicate efficient operational methods/procedures at all locations of Electrical Business Field operations in TUVR India.
- Developing methods & monitoring tools [RCA & CAPA] towards optimal management of technical deviations observed during internal & external engagements.
Business Orientation:
- Work with Managers of Electrical Business Field to develop Technical Operations supporting new service segments / portfolios development to foster business in line with Organizational Strategic Growth Plans
- Developing & driving continual improvement towards Technical management of Sales Operations.
- Develop and foster relationships with key customers and industry groups
- Represent TUVR India in key industry events promoting & enhancing business interests
Quality & Compliance:
- Identifying, developing & maintaining accreditations applicable for business continuity
- Identify opportunities for process improvement; develop, implement, and monitor departmental processes, procedures and policies
- Ensure consistency and quality of the company’s technical services Adherence to & implementation of corporate guidelines and regulations
Requirements
- Should have at least 10 years of experience in Product Certification from TIC Industry
- Ability to implement New Initiatives for Process improvement
- Must have experience in Project Management and Team Building.
- To be based in Bangalore, India or willing to relocate.
