Scope: Technical services of Wisium and other ADM Animal Nutrition activities in India.
Reporting Line: General Manager, ADM Animal Nutrition India .
Dotted Line: Global Technical Specie specialist
Location: Gurgaon, India.
Products: Mainly Wisium product portfolio and other ADM brands & products as required.

It is based on the manufacturing of technical products ( premix, feed & feed additives, base mix, mineral feed, nutraceuticals, mineral licking buckets, feed first age, etc ) which are generally associated with high added value consulting services.

MISSION

As Specie Technical Manager, one will be responsible for formulation and product creation of ADM, sales team training and technical support on field, key account development and management. The profile requires extensive traveling and overall support to sales, distributors/customers as well as marketing team. The individual will be responsible in driving the technical side in sync with the global specie experts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product and services:

  • Product formulation (premix, concentrate, feed and feed additives, nutritional supplements)
  • Technical trainings to sales team to increase know how in overall technical knowledge and on our products and services.
  • Key account management and development and facilitate sales from such accounts.
  • Assist marketing department in product creation and develop and manage the overall product portfolio. Work with the marketing team to develop marketing plans and strategies, media comminutions, product brochures for business development on the technical side.
  • Identifying opportunities around products and services and communicating with the marketing head.
  • Provide inputs to commercial on market and product analysis for improving and ease business development.
  • If required, build and manage a team of technical field support.
  • Connect with the global team to ensure the product and services meets all the global standards.
  • Connect with global team to bring from global new product and services proposed.
  • Necessary product registration, documentation in line with the local government regulation for both domestic as well as import business.
  • Coordinate and organize technical webinars for customers with the global team for training and product knowledge wherever required.
  • Conduct product trials and launches, preparing reports and presentations/business proposal to justify product launch/new products from technical perspective, all in line with global standards.
  • Associate with the industry institutions and universities.

Technical support services:

  • Building a strong technical team and platform to support sales team and develop business.
  • Develop local and global tools and train sales team to use them.
  • Responsible for all tests, analysis, feed formulation and providing results to customers wherever required.

Sales, business development and team management

  • Develop and handle major key accounts in India and convert business.
  • Working closely with the sales team to provide business leads, sales support, technical services.
  • Coordinating and conducting product and service training for the sales team and distributors. Ensure the team is updated with all nutritional aspects/knowledge of the products and services required to execute and maintain sales.
  • Follow up with customers on product feedback and response in coordination with the sales team.
  • Coordinate with the commercial, operations, technical on regular basis for product and service support
  • Assisting commercial and finance in product pricing, budgeting and planning of various products and services.
  • Collaborate with various business units, work on leads and create synergies within business verticals.

PROFILE With a postgraduate qualification, Veterinarian MVSC/Phd /Nutritionist/ educational background with at least 15 years of experience in the industry in the technical background.
