Job description: Essential Functions

  • Review the offer requirements, use cases, system and product specifications to fully understand the project details
  • Plan and develop a complete test strategy to cover the system release from product verification through to system verification activities
  • Plan and develop test cases to ensure the development implementation meets the requirements
  • Use existing tools and techniques to design, develop, revise, and execute automated and manual tests
  • Perform integration, new feature & regression testing
  • Coordinate certification activities as needed based on release content
  • Extend the existing test automation infrastructure to optimize testing
  • Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Supports design team to reproduce customer issues to help identify root cause
  • Report test progress & coverage

Required Skills

  • Minimum (3) years’ experience in Leading System verification activities within an R&D Environment
  • Minimum (5) years’ experience in System testing, specifically within an R&D Environment
  • Knowledge on PLC programming especially with Function blocks.
  • Knowledge on Industrial communication Protocols like Modbus TCP/Ethernet I/P/Profinet
  • Knowledge on Motor Management & Low voltage domain.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Awareness of agile methodologies
  • BE Degree in Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using National Instruments Test Stand is a plus
  • Test automation experience is a plus
  • Experience on DTM is an advantage.
  • Experience with Schneider M340 and M580 along with Machine Expert/Control Expert
  • Experience with Siemens PLC and TIA portal
  • Experience on Using DTM
