The Statistical Programming team is a dynamic function where we are empowered to experiment, explore and progress beyond the boundaries of best-in-class Statistical Programming analysis. From a collaborative effort with Data Management, Clinical Study Teams, Statisticians, medical / scientific writing teams, publication teams, we analyze tons of data, deriving meaningful insights that enable us to deliver innovative medicines to millions of patients worldwide. Job Purpose The Statistical Programmer 2 is responsible for programming aspects (including analysis datasets, pooled datasets, specification creation, SAP review, listings, figures, and tables) of Medical Affairs (MA) studies, non-interventional studies (NIS), and scientific analytic studies according to defined specifications and supporting ad hoc programming requests self-sufficiently whenever required with highest quality. Your key responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for the integrity of the programming/computing solutions for multiple clinical trials (or equivalent) and/or publication activities. In collaboration with the Biostatistician and Senior Programmer, provide programming support to project-level programming deliverables and other ad hoc programming requests. Ensure understanding and compliance with study and project programming standards. Responsible for development of programming specification. Support the full execution of final production run and programming activities for a project or an indication with guidance from senior team members. Maintain optimum communication with internal and external study team members, provide status of programming activities as and when required. Ensure high efficiency and timely completion according to agreed timelines, report to Lead Programmer and/or Lead Statistician in case of any potential challenges. Ensure quality deliverables and compliance with validation process for audit readiness. Ensure awareness of other programming responsibilities like creation of programming summary report, CRF review, Case Report Tabulations, CRF annotation and should be ready to provide inputs if required. Under minimal guidance participate in establishing working relationship on assigned studies with external service provider according to agreed contract and internal business guidance. [#video#https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/Mo1vwtVPVA0#400,300##/video#] Minimum requirements Minimum Requirements: Graduates/ Postgraduates or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science, health sciences or related fields with at least 2 years of work experience in a statistical programming role preferably supporting clinical trials/ or in the pharmaceutical industry Good knowledge of / experience with SAS (including SAS/Base, SAS/Graph and SAS/Macro) and other relevant programming software. Working knowledge of office tools (mainly Excel, Word). Working knowledge of database design/structures and basic statistics. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Intermediate understanding of global clinical trial practices, procedures, methodologies.
