Job Description Summary As a Sr Network Operations Engineer, you will implement, operate and support multi-tenant, scalable network solutions, manage inventory for Enterprise Monitoring Lab and troubleshoot Hardware devices and Network issues. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities In this role, you will: Plan and execute the approved network design. Monitor network performance and assure network security in a high available environment. Ensure that the Network is certified as per the Test Environment document. Troubleshoot Hardware devices Manage the inventory of Lab devices and ensure devices are in working condition meeting the Quality Management System expectations Support in shipment of devices working with local and global affiliates Work with JFWTC IT team to report, troubleshoot, and resolve Network issues. Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Electronics or Electrical Engineering Around 10+ years of experience in Network installation, troubleshooting and inventory management Technical Expertise: Establishes network environment by designing system configuration and qualifying new switches and routers Performing System installation defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards Maximizes network performance by monitoring network performance Troubleshooting network problems and addressing field and product issues caused due to network Direct/lead junior technical team members within area of responsibility to complete projects with quality, within time, and budget boundaries. Maintain an effective and collaborative working relationship within team and cross functional teams including Quality, Services, IT teams Should possess keen eye for quality. Work with external vendors to get device calibration and preventive maintenance done. Ensure good documentation practices are followed. Good knowledge on Installation and configuration of routers and switches Knowledge on VPN- IPsec Tunnel and Firewalls Desired Characteristics : Organized and self-motivated with an ability to prioritize and manage demanding workload Skilled in breaking down problems and estimating time for tasks Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team Shares knowledge, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill Inclusion and Diversity GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
