Job Description : Do you have a passion for being a Cloud Services thought leader/evangelist, for driving innovation and changeDell Technologies Services (DTS), a key area of growth for Dell Technologies, is building a ‘As a Service Solutions’ to deliver customer workloads utilizing Dell and Partner components. We are looking for a Solutions Architect, a thought leader to build standard solutions for Dell’s like developer cloud, Container as a service, MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) as a service using Dell and 3rd party HW/SW. This role will be focus on working with Dell Engineering team to standardize the solution to be delivered as a Service to Dell’s customers. You will be in a dynamic environment with other motivated, talented individuals who inspire greatness in their teammates. As part of the Solutions Engineering team for Dell Cloud Managed Services Platform, you will: Integrate with Dell Cloud Management Platform to enable the dell delivery team to remotely access, monitor, manage and patch the managed solutions with appropriate security measures like RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), logging, SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), and auth integration, password vaults Develop and drive the deployment of code using CI/CD Participate in design collaboration, and code reviews. Work with product owners and other stakeholders to deliver quality code DevOps rollout and automated deployment and patch upgrade from infra to OS (Operating System) to tooling Collaborate across all engineering disciplines to identify solutions and feature requirements to support common customer use-case running on Dell’s engineered stack Code and collaborate with team for executing projects and business required functionalities Install and configure lab with infrastructure (computer, storage, network, data protection, virtualization and container environment Essential Requirements B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, technical degree, or equivalent work experience with 8 years of deploying solutions on bare metal, virtualized & containerized production environments. This role will appeal to you if you love coding and thinking through design patterns, engineering models & frameworks. You enjoy helping people solve problems, writing code samples, and communicating to a broad audience. Prior working experience with Agile software development, DevSecOps, IaC (Infrastructure As Code) and their Automation toolchains e.g., Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Jira, Git. a definition of done. Experience working on Configuration management, CI/CD, Jenkins pipeline Desirable Requirements Team player, supporting and promoting team accomplishments with a proven ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly fluid environment. Knowledge on Data center management functions & tools (Compute, Network & Storage) with hypervisor and technology like VMWare Exposure to any or all of the following Tanzu, Converge.io, containers, OpenShift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and Kubernetes Prior work experience in Solution engineering, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and Consulting or Managed Services Here’s our story now tell us yours Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
