Job description: Key Job Responsibilities include:

Managing the Operations of particular sections of speciality chemical plant, batch type operations.

Operations of Unit Operation like Nitration, Neutralisation, Reduction, scrubbing etc. in the order of priority.

Shall be sound in various chemicals used and its MSDS, shall have knowledge of using utilities like steam, chilling water, PNG etc.

Equipment Operation (Handling & Cleaning): Shall be aware of troubleshooting of any process deviation, equipment malfunctioning etc. Record keeping of parameters during the shift in prescribed format.

Follow the Standard Operating Procedures.

Implement 5s standard at plant in day to day operation. Handling of all Chemical material by himself, and willing to by following all safety & process requirements.

What we are looking for:  Diploma (Chemical) /B.Sc.(Chemistry) with Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience of related chemical plant operations from reputed institute.

Diploma holders of Government Polytechnic are preferred.

 Shall be person willing to work with his own hand, quick learner, TEAM player and having positive attitude.

 Operational experience in managing equipment such as Filter Press (Plate & Frame), SFD, Reactors, Centrifugal pumps & Valves, PLC / DCS base operations, Furnace Operations and Milling & drying operations.

 Basic knowledge of process & Personal Safety.

 Candidates from pigments, speciality chemical industry, agrochemical and pesticide industry are preferred. Candidates working in petrochemical and refining industry need not apply.
