The ICON Labs IT team help to ensure ICON’s Specialty and Central Lab businesses are enabled by technology to meet business objectives.
This team works on ensuring that new solutions and existing systems can be take advantage of technology change and utilize transforming capabilities including, but not limited to:
- data engineering,
- lab automation,
- artificial intelligence,
- machine learning and
- the use of cloud services.
Must have at least 5 years’ experience managing technical teams, and had an architecture role during his/her career.
Experience in Life Science is preferable.
Technical platforms: C#, .NET, Oracle, SQL Server, AWS, Azure
This role will increase our capacity to support the business units and system landscape so that we can help to reduce duplication of effort and unnecessary processes and speed the delivery of transformative capabilities.
The Sr. Manager must have experience managing a technical team, communicating technical concepts, collaborating with other IT teams and leadership in Labs IT.
The Sr. Manager must have IT Architecture skills and must translate business requirements and problems into technical solution recommendations that support and align with an Enterprise approach to simplify, create efficiency, and interoperability that can be delivered on time and on budget.
The Sr. Manager must have a solid understanding of technology, be able to develop and size solution options, review with relevant teams and present these to stakeholders for approval. They need to be willing and able to accurately communicate their ideas.
