Job description: Responsibilities
- You will be part of a team responsible for deploying and maintaining network, systems, telecommunications, storage, and security in multiple data centers as well as cloud infrastructure and services
- Own planning, execution and close of an entire project(s) related to network scaling & stability
- Develop a technical debt mitigation strategy in partnership with other architects on the team
- Partner with infosec, engineering and operations team to better understand upcoming IT needs and incorporate these needs in long-term and short-term network architecture strategy
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of network architecture experience using Cisco platform
- Expert in network security and experience leveraging Palo Alto and Cisco ASA, wireless, switching products. Managing their hygiene, patching and upgrades
- Expert at reverse engineering large scale and complex network environment
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SDWAN, Multi cloud / tenant architecture
- Experience building and releasing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Experience leveraging agile methodology (Kanban, Sprint Planning) to manage project work
- Extremely good at communication and comfortable with high level of transparency
- Service delivery mindset and able to create partnership with customer groups
- Ability to produce and maintain high quality network topology / architecture documentation.
- Experience in Data Center, Voice, DC Build & Migration, Design Validation and Redesigning are mandatory
