Summary: Responsible for assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to outpatient surgery medical records using ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes or other designated coding classification system based on source documentation within the medial record Responsible to work CCI, NCCI, Medical Necessity or other coding related pre or post coding edits. Abides by Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
