About the internship

DCKAP Palli is a skill development cum placement initiative by the DCKAP Community that strives to provide industry-ready skill training for the students who complete their 12th Grade/Polytechnic/Diploma colleges.

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Support program team in conducting outreach activities for enrolling students for DCKAP Palli
2. Reach out to the government, govt aided higher secondary schools and polytechnic colleges in Chennai in enrolling students on the program
3. Create awareness, share the expectations and the journey of the program with the students
4. Build partnerships with stakeholders including the school/college management to ensure the long-term sustainability of our efforts
5. Conduct preliminary screening both online and in-person for interested candidates
6. Coordinate with the HR Team throughout the screening process
7. Coordinate with the onboarding team to perform background checks and collect relevant information from the candidates
8. Help the core team in setting up the classroom and better environment for the candidates

Expected salary: Rs.6000 per month
