Job description: Title: Principal Technical Professional – Engineering Safety
Candidates should have suitable process safety design experience in FEED/detailed engineering of at least any one Refinery, LNG, Oil & Gas onshore / offshore, FPSO projects
Preparation of HSE Design philosophy and fire & gas philosophy, hazardous area classification schedule and layouts, passive fire proofing schedule and layout.
Preparation of fire protection and safety equipment specification, datasheet and layout, escape route layout and safety sign layout, fire & gas detector layout and cause & effect chart, preparation of fire water and foam demand calculation report and fire water hydraulics.
Preparation fire water P & ID’s and fire water network layout, Deluge P & ID and Foam system P & IDs.
Participation in safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/SIMOPS, Bow-tie analysis etc..
Shall be able to review safety study reports such as QRA, EERA, FERA, fire & gas mapping study, Flare Radiation study etc. and translate the outcomes in to design documents.
Knowledge of engineering practices, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.
Carry out all the planning, scheduling and coordination required to execute a project. Coordinate with peers and sub-ordinates involved from other engineering Depts.
Maintains a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all Governmental Regulations and Corporate Safety Guidelines.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate should be a graduate Chemical Engineer or equivalent.
8 – 15 years of related experience as mentioned above.
Exposure in process design safety
Good written and oral communication skills.
