This position is responsible for ensuring the Quality of the atlas software deliveries. This role is responsible for leading quality review which includes creating test plans and strategy, test cases in partnership with developers, business analysts and project managers which are used to shape and verify code and check conformance to system requirements. The role relies upon test automation and manual testing tools. The person is to assist in defining QA coding standards and frameworks, and for identifying emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to client’s business goals. What a typical day looks like: Responsible for creating test plans and strategy Reviews and re-evaluates the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules Performs testing of software features Performs quality review of atlas WMS related applications Coordinates implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance tests Assists in test environment setup/teardown, test automation, and exploratory testing Ensures the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation Cooperates with developers and solution managers in reporting system errors Using knowledge and experience Provides the best possible solutions for issues/errors based on the understanding of the system and client business processes Leads/mentors developers and shares knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions. Performs training for users of entrusted systems Creates professional documentation regarding entrusted systems, following the standards of creating and archiving documentation accepted in Flex Works with internal stakeholders in evaluating and implementing new technologies and offer strategies for new opportunities Assists in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes and strategic plans Executes work honestly and conscientiously ensuring flex ways of working. Works under the guidance of the QA Lead and gains job qualifications in forms and during the rules established. Performs other tasks as per policy, not mentioned above for the good of interests of the company Cares for entrusted properties, uses materials and machines according to its use Complies with quality, environment protection and WSK System policies – where obligatory Code of Conduct ESD, other rules existing within the company and Polish regulations Complies fire fighting, health and safety regulations in force Strictly follows confidentiality rules towards the company Complies with SOX procedures (re: internal controls of financial flow in the company) applicable at the position The experience we’re looking to add to our team: 10+ years of working experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in CS, IT or related scientific discipline. Experience in testing various applications, services and user interfaces Experience in test automation and creating repeatable, maintainable, automated test suites Understanding of test driven development Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices Understanding of user interface design Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices & methodologies Familiarity with various quality management systems and quality metrics Computer Systems validation from a medical domain will be an added advantage Ability to communicate technical aspects to people with non-IT background Ability to act as a liaison between QA and development teams Ability to ensure that solutions developed by technical teams fit the business needs Ability to offer alternative approaches to achieve the client goals Ability to analyse complex situations and manage all variables to achieve optimal solutions Ability to act on the information provided or get information needed so that decisions for project implementations can be made quickly and effectively Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing What you’ll receive for the great work you provide: Health Insurance PTO AK35 #LI-AA1Job Category ITFlex pays for all costs associated with the application, interview or offer process, a candidate will not be asked for any payment related to these costs.Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
