About the internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Produce accurate and complete designs, which present a clear and comprehensive statement of what is required
2. Produce drawings of products/components/customized systems that can be manufactured efficiently and economically
3. Perform computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs
4. Oversee the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing
5. Prepare engineering documents such as 3D model, isometrics, bill of material, etc., and maintain a record of revisions

Other requirements
1. Qualification: B.E/MTech in mechanical
2. Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer
3. Strong manufacturing engineering background
4. Good knowledge of material selection, machining and fabrication process, and post-processing operations
5. Good understanding of GD&T
6. Hands-on experience on AutoCAD is essential
7. At least one 3D software (Fusion 360/SolidWorks/UG/ProE/Inventor) is desirable
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9. Experience in the motorcycle industry (preferred)
10. Experiential knowledge of pipe bending, sheet metal work, milling, turning & surface finishing processes is a plus
