Our Digital Team partners with business units and clients to develop software and technical innovation. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative software. Partner with the best The Drilling Services Product and Technology Team is looking for a self-contained, motivated and structured Electrical Engineer ( Hardware & Firmware) to join our team. This will be a unique opportunity to join a cross discipline team working with state-of-the-art technologies in the energy development industry. The position is based in Pune, India. As a Lead Electrical Engineer , you will be responsible for: Taking ownership with hands-on work of some of the technical hardware design tasks Developing and integration of new embedded software systems for our downhole drilling tools. Planning and assigning the design tasks according to the project priorities Following Hardware Design Processes. Engineering Level Testing of designs EMI/EMC, Environmental and compliance testing for design qualification Communicating effectively across functional teams including design, CAD and firmware Developing hardware architecture to meet product specifications at high temperature Be an Individual contributor and taking ownership in hardware based product design and development Having Cooperation with internal and external development partners creating customized hardware around existing or new products. understanding of relevant technology and practice. Selecting Component and obsolesce management. Debugging and problem-solving ability, troubleshooting embedded systems using Simulators Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Having Experience in both hardware (mandatory) and firmware (preferred) Having Experience of C or C++ programming Having Experience in Electronics/ Embedded Mixed signal Hardware design Having Good embedded C programming experience on microcontrollers (8/16/32 bit architecture) Having Experience of analysis of digital circuitries and technical datasheets Having Experience in Analog design using OPAMP, ADC, DAC, etc. Having Experience in communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, RS485, CAN etc. Having Experience in electromechanical and various sensors based design. Having Experience in designing power supply design. AC to DC and DC to DC converter design Having Hands on experience in schematic design and multilayer PCB layout design (ALTIUM preferred) Having good knowledge of various EMC/EMI control methods and implementation at PCB/component level Having good knowledge of Component selection & obsolescence management Having Experience in handling lab equipment: Oscilloscope, logicanalyzer, Multimeter, LCR etc. Having Good experience with Prototype board bring-up.
