What you will be doing
Will be responsible for the Data Migration and Loading activities for FIS Data Management for solutions within Capital Markets for the Asset Finance product.
What you bring:
Participate in designing and developing the data extraction and Data Migration processes.
Define and document business rules and Transformation logic required after fact – finding and analysis of source systems required for FIS solutions.
Able to understand and Translate the FIS solutions Data Models into data Specifications for identifying customer’s data appetite.
Good understanding of database concepts.
Participation in the design of the Data Migration activities and deploy them in production.
At least 3-5 years of experience in analysis / design of Data Migration. Experience in a Technology consultancy or Technology for financial institution, ideally Risk related. Work experience on Financial applications will be added advantage with fair understanding on data elements.
Requires a prior exposure to Data modeling, Database design and SQL. Conversant with writing SQL Server queries, Excel Macros, XML etc.
Knowledge on ETL tools.
Understanding of .Net ,C# would be added advantage.
Strong Data Analysis Skills like ETL Mapping, SQL querying, Source to Target Mapping.
Understanding of an enterprise level RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle etc…).
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent.
Graduation with Specialization and certification in Data Migration etc.

Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation
Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements

Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)

Must be able to perform under pressure
Must learn and maintain knowledge of software components as necessary to support application builds and deployments and maintaining production environments.
