Digital Office, Business Applications, R&D IT Virtual Platform Team

As member of this team, you will be developing and supporting our R&D engineering environments in the journey towards cloudification, digitalization and automation of R&D design processes and tools. Complete digitalization of the design flow and virtualization of the products in nowadays R&D process is becoming a mandatory step in accelerating the time to market and ensuring a better quality for the Nokia products. What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for IT Technical Engineer responsible of co-ordination and creation of the overall multidiscipline design flow orchestration and optimization in the design systems.

The role of a IT Technical Engineer is to define, document and create the Simulation Data Management specific configurations and workflows for a capability under development. You will participate in:

  • Determining the system, subsystems, and interfaces,
  • Validating technology assumptions and evaluating alternatives, working closely with the business and technical delivery owners and support teams.
  • Main task is to be responsible over the simulation data models, workflows, integrations, overall simulation data model and get the general task management as fluent as possible, focusing on increasing automation level and automated work and data flows in the systems.
  • Familiarity with coding, scripting and overall simulation and engineering tools is a request for the role.
  • To succeed in this role demands close co-operation with related IT R&D and R&D teams and the tool software vendors.

Your skills and experience

You have:
– Bachelors or Master’s degree in applicable sciences or equivalent practical experience
– Experience using, administering and supporting Design Data and Job Mgmt. tools, including architecture and installation, configuration, upgrading etc. (e.g. Windchill, Mentor EDM, ANSYS Minerva (ARAS based) …)
– Knowledge in simulation tools like ANSYS, Siemens, Dassault, etc. tool sets (e.g. CST 2021, Hyper lynx VX2.8, MATLAB 2021a, Keysight ADS 2020U2, Ansys Opti Slang etc )
– Knowledge in simulations HW environments like servers and high-performance computing
– Experience in end user support

– Experience in for example areas like:

  • Scripting: .Net, Java, JavaScript, Python, VB Script, …
  • UI/UX,
  • Data Virtualization, Graph DB
  • ThingWorx development
  • SQL Server, Performance Tuning
  • Global Support
  • SSO, Azure AD

It would be nice if you have also:
– Versed in cloud technologies
– Cloud computing/edge clouds
– Cloud architecture
– Experience on Data analytics, Data engineering, Data modelling
– Understanding in IT Architectural planning
– Application / solution architecture
– Information / Data Architecture
– Technical architecture
