About our group: The IT-Finance Applications organization is responsible for design, development, and support of IT applications for Seagate Finance organization. We are strategic partners to Seagate business in leveraging IT solutions for business transformation. About the role – you will: In this high-impact role, this individual’s principal goals are leadership in the design, definition and wide use of the applications that support finance, enhance the effectiveness of the ERP and related applications. Need to plan, coordinate, and direct all activities related to the development and management of applications that enhance business operations, and associated back-office systems. You will work closely with decision makers in Finance organization and IT cross-functional teams to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions. This individual is also responsible for coordinating with in-house and 3rd party development team members. The candidate will oversee the applications department personnel and is a key participant in the development of the IT Strategic Plan. About you: Strong experience with building and supporting SAP applications Ability to collaborate with cross-functional, multi-geography teams Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences Ability to deliver high value projects Knowledgeable in Finance processes Excellent verbal and written communication to technical, non-technical audiences, and senior management Your experience includes: 10+ years of IT experience in supporting finance applications 5+ years of SAP Finance (Must) SAP S/4 HANA Implementation experience SAP General Ledger and Group Reporting functionality expertise Understanding of financial close and consolidation processes Leading teams You might also have: Previous work experience with multi-National companies Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible employees including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability, annual variable pay bonus, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, flexible and dependent care spending accounts, health care spending account, flexible time off/vacation, paid holidays and paid parental leave.
