This is a national role and you will develop the industry’s best cloud Solutions Architects by enabling and coaching them on best practices, solution delivery, presentation and speaking skills, as well as how to create and present architectures of widely varying and complexity. You have strong technical depth, customer relationship skills, business aptitude, and the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of the AWS platform and services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for engaging with Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, Directors, VP’s and CXOs across Startups, Institutions, Research and Governments. In this role, you will need to be technically capable and credible in your own right as well as effective in shaping the customer and solutions-focused skills of your team. You must enjoy learning and introducing new technology in order to help colleagues and customers embrace and adopt new technology. Furthermore, thought leadership in terms of looking beyond the technology and considering the business value technology creates for our customers, and helping to change how technology is viewed are important aspects of the role. You will help team members and customers ramp-up on Amazon Web Services as well as develop speaking, writing, presentation, and executive interaction skills. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other departments within AISPL such as our services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management to ensure better CX and comply with and compliance with global AWS standards, practices and policies. You will have a passion for learning and the potential to grow professionally as AISPL expands its range of services and customers. Key job responsibilities As a key member of the technical leadership team, you ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services onto the AWS Cloud. Hire, on-board, train, and develop Solutions Architects and their managers from internal and external sources. Coach Solutions Architects and their managers in India in the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are on-premise or using AWS Cloud. Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Cloud solutions architect and the startup communities (Meetups, Accelerators, Incubators, VCs). Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, proof-of-concepts and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices. Build deep relationships with decision makers within customer accounts to enable them to be ‘Cloud advocates’. Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of Amazon Cloud. Work with the team to organize technical workshops and facilitate the sharing of knowledge across teams. Strategy & Innovation: articulate business/industry fundamentals ( e.g., ROI, TCO) understand regulations and operational excellence familiarity with business strategy and trends in the IT industry (e.g., CI/CD, IoT, Predictive Analytics) Technology Breadth: demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development. Basic Qualifications : 8+ years of experience growing and managing customer-facing, highly technical resources. Experience architecting and deploying production Cloud workloads. 10+ years of customer facing experience. Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technical professionals. Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, tools, and methodologies. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field). Dynamic and creative, and willing to take on any challenge and make a big impact. Enjoy developing technical talent to achieve great things. Have a strong understanding of solutions innovation. The ideal candidate will have past experience working with customers or similar role and leading architecture teams. Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. CTO/co-founder/mentor experience for a VC-backed technology startup company. Experience with on-premises to Cloud migrations and IT transformations. Professional exposure to software architecture or developing on AWS, including AWS certification.
