JOB DESCRIPTION Job Overview Manage a team responsible for end-to-end delivery of the architectural solutions. Responsible for collaboration between technical and business teams, for evaluating new tools and technology, hiring and team grooming. Building Niche skill capability to achieve business results. Essential Functions . Leads or acts as a senior consultant on the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification, of software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. . Interacts with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. . Provides technical leadership and coordinates the activities of lower level staff. . Lead the team to create Codes which may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as desktop applications, mobile apps, financial management, or HRIS products. . Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. . Will be responsible for achieving excellence through process and/or people management. . Lead the niche skill capability to drive business results . Use or implement cutting edge technologies such as AI/ML, Salesforce, Mulesoft, Mobile, ReactJS, etc., to create new products/software or solve existing product/platform challenges Qualifications . Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience Req . Twelve (12) years of systems analysis and software development experience Req . Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion . Develops and delivers effective presentations . Possesses strong technical aptitude . Highly experienced working with healthcare systems, including clinical and administrative side of local hospital and outpatient systems . Experienced working abroad in academic or commercial leadership position . Possesses people leadership experience . Proven track record in observational research, medical coding, epidemiological design, large scale analytics technology . Experience in manipulating and querying data at scale . Good grasp of classical statistical methods, such as fitting regression models, inference testing and sampling. . Software engineering experience including agile methods, programming skills in languages such as Python, R, C++, Spark, potentially Scala, MATLAB, and data visualization . Good knowledge of healthcare / life science issues and experience with patient-level, longitudinal data. . A proactive, innovative and pragmatic approach to problem solving and an ability to think critically and independently.
