Job description: As Director – Sales, you will be responsible for overachieving the annual Revenue, Profitability and collection targets of the company. You will be leading the Regional, Area and Territory Sales teams. You are required to build robust sales processes and implement best practices, without compromising agility, to help your organization continuously achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set KPIs of the sales team. Review, assess and monitor the performance of the sales team
  • Set product narratives and communications for the sales organization along marketing guidelines
  • Prepare pitches and narratives for various stakeholders involved in the buying process
  • Develop product and selling skills training programs for the sales organization
  • Set targets and territory demarcation for the sales organization and distributors
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly sales forecast for defined territories, lead monthly planning of primary and secondary sales
  • Develop sales processes and policies for both sales organization and distributors
  • Establish a strong distribution network to penetrate accounts for product portfolio of the company
  • Review, train and manage distributors, define and monitor their KPIs and targets
  • Develop and implement an account plan to grow the revenues at the account above market average
  • Develop strategies to build long term relationship with Key Accounts
  • Develop pricing policies and frameworks, MRP, distributor agreements, distributor margins
  • Set team and channel KPIs in line with the marketing strategy, Implement Marketing strategies and activities on ground
  • Set targets, achieve, and optimize performance metrics like call average, sales TAT, demos conducted, secondary sales, win rate, NPS, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop joint initiatives for improving customer experience and meet customer experience targets
  • Provide inputs based on feedback from the ground for improvements in the Marketing strategy.
  • Be on top of all customer complaints and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for formal response and closure
  • Competition & Market Mapping; Track and gather market data, monitoring competitor activities
  • Drive business development initiatives including training and education of paramedical staff, with special focus on business development in tier 2 / tier 3 cities
  • Facilitate and execute seminars, meetings etc with Key Decision makers, Administrators, KOLs, Influencers, promotion through trade fairs, etc.
  • Represent the company at national and international conferences and programs
  • Hire, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, Manage team development schedules and resources.
  • Goal setting and measurement for the sales team. Lead mentoring and leadership growth of the team.
  • Drive adherence to CRM processes and ISO 13485

Job Requirements:
➢ Education & Experience:

  • Full time MBA from a reputed institute * Minimum 10 years of experience working in sales * Minimum 5 years of experience in medical equipment sales pan India/global

➢ Technical Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proven track record of business expansion, achieving high growth targets and leading sales teams * Strong techno-commercial skills in medical equipment / healthcare space * Commercial and legal knowledge related to medical equipment business in India
