About System IP.

The team owns the creation of a range of sophisticated Arm IP, like Interconnects/NoCs, MMUs and ISPs used in multiple innovative products targeting high-end mobile, networking, and enterprise markets!
The SMMU team owns the development of next-generation Arm SMMU targeting high-end mobile, networking, and enterprise markets. The SMMU is a key component of the Arm Architecture that provides critical and complex functionalities that complement systems design with Arm processors and Multimedia IP.
What will I be accountable for?
You will be responsible for building and developing a team to provide architecture verification service to multiple SMMU development teams, across wide range of applications including mobile, IoT, networking infrastructure, automotive etc. In this role you will potentially build and develop team to also provide verification support to other System IPs product families within Arm.
Accountability
Line management, providing technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team of highly skilled engineers.
Working with your team and project managers to plan, schedule and deliver roadmap.
Team development, plan and use the assigned engineering people creatively to deliver on the engineering commitments successfully
Establishing good practices in the development of architecture verification suites – including design, verification, testing, code review and documentation.
Collaborate with IP owners, project managers, architects, and other IP teams to interface system development.
Strong partner management and stakeholder management skills and continuous communications with them.
Actively review inter-project dependencies and risks, assist in the resolution of differences where vital, to achieve greater success.
Drive efficiency improvement through adoption of right design/verification tools and methodologies
Continue to invest in interpersonal development, recruit the best talent to further strengthen the team, mentor/coach team members for career development, succession planning.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (computer science or electronics engineering).
Essential Experience:
15+ yrs of experience as team leader with strong people management skills.
Experience in driving and coordinating projects.
Understanding of SoC architecture across one or more market segments
Understanding of digital design and verification concepts and
Understanding of random verification methodologies including test generation tools, HVLs, coverage, etc
Consistent track record of execution and/or methodology development and deployment on complex projects, individually or in a team
Great influencing and presentation skills!
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills!
Experience is cross geo team interactions.
Growth mindset and looking for continuous improvement.
Desirable Experience:
Awareness of CPU/System architecture features (such as caches, MMU, SMP, coherency, pipelines)
Exposure to various market segments like Client, Infrastructure, Embedded, IoT
General understanding of Arm-based Systems and protocols like AMBA AXI and/or CHI
