Provide technical support for following, but not limited to, pharmacovigilance and safety observational study related activities
- Maintain deep technical understanding of IT technologies
- Develop and maintain Sharepoint/Teams site
- Support to improve business process leveraging O365, visualization technologies.
- Support for the oversight and/or development of new and existing systems, tools, technologies and strategies in support of related business processes.
- Uses standard validation principles and system development methodologies to create and maintain applications for use in operations and processes.
- Research new technologies and work with business and IT teams in building and deploying applications/analytics models in Japan GPSS.
- Contribute local innovation(digitalization/innovation) by collaborating with relevant functions.
- Active engagement in benchmarking in order to highlight opportunities for automation and technology improvements
Support strategic projects and business process through collaboration with relevant functions, external/internal benchmarking, business process automation needs, and analytic trends. Maintain deep technical understanding of safety process knowledge in order to apply technology and automation to the processes. Collaborate within and across cross functional teams and ensure effective project management to deliver results within agreed timelines. Compliance
- Understand the confidential nature of company information and takes necessary steps to ensure its protection.
- Ensure compliance to quality system documents, local laws and regulations, training requirements and best practices.
- Understand the roles of the EU Qualified Person (QP) and ensures support is provided to fulfill the QP legal responsibilities.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in computer engineering/application, information technology/science, or any relevant field or experience.
- Experience with data, reporting, and processes/systems.
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis and visualization tools and technologies (eg: Advanced Excel, Business objects, Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.), data storage technologies (SQL, Oracle, Access, etc.) and data manipulation and analysis languages (eg: VBA, Python, SPARQL, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and effectively in both English and Japanese (presentations, read, verbal & written skills).
- Demonstrated understanding of key IT assets in support of assigned aspects of the IT system development process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards and best practice.
- Business acumen and ability to link business with operational objectives.
- Demonstrated strong learning agility.
