In this role, you have the opportunity to Shape the early stage innovations & Digital Solutions transformation for the Services & Solutions Delivery within Research (moving from reactive to predictive services and professional services) Be a Leader accountable for building globally recognized Cluster focused domain & functional leadership (product management, program management, clinical excellence, SW Architecture & Development & Data Science) and delivering on the Cluster focused Value Stream commitments Drive innovation & IP generation Develop a longer-term strategy to build strong domain & technical leadership, solid engagement & culture and a pipeline for top talent. You are responsible to Contributes to the department strategy and determines the team’s objectives, programs, processes and budgets in alignment with the strategy and Cluster SPOR. Make sure that the team can meet the objectives and ensures that the roles and responsibilities are put in place. Manages capabilities of the team to develop and maintain a long-term view on the required competences and knowledge to introduce new technology. Formulates and implements long-term vision/direction/strategy for the team: steering the group to add maximum value to the Cluster in the future. Content-wise inspires and contributes to cross-EPIC & Cluster strategy and project teams working on innovation themes and breakthroughs. Ensures an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment in the department by motivating, challenging, and coaching the department ‘s employees towards growth, stimulating entrepreneurship and driving engagement Guides Project Managers/Leaders and ensures the optimal allocation of personnel to the projects and effective project management Cooperates with relevant parties outside of the team. Works across the borders of the own team cooperating with other department heads, programs and the business. Establishes a network with relevant players scientific relations outside of the department and with the business – on all topics, and actively using this network to obtain input on technological developments, identifying trends and opportunities You are a part of Department leadership team shaping the department strategy and an integral part of global Value streams for Services and Solutions Delivery To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following Strong people focused leader, with 12+yrs experience, experienced in building top performing teams, leading leaders and get the team working effectively in a matrix and cross site mode Working experience and sound knowledge in the Services/Service propositions for Healthcare products & systems Strong digital skills, with an ability to assess and guide development teams in front end innovations Practical experience in working with Healthcare regulatory needs Strong passion and awareness to delivery with high Quality including Patient Safety Ability to network and manage internal and external stakeholders How we work at Philips Our newly-adopted hybrid work concept fuses flexibility with collaboration to deliver great outcomes for our people and our customers.
