Role Description
Role Description
We are looking for a candidate able to lead & own delivery of projects on Medical Writing specializing in Scientific Communication. The candidate should have sound knowledge of end-to-end processes for different types of scientific communications like Manuscripts, Abstracts, Posters, Newsletters etc. to name a few. In addition, knowledge about different resources and tools that are used for delivery such projects is a must.
Role and responsibilities
- Own scientific communication project delivery and ensure all deliverables and SLAs are met with quality.
- Establish, setup and scale a team of medical writers in the scientific communication space
- Understand requirements from client and work with Incedo medical writers and translate the requirements into deliverables
- Engage with client on establishing KPIs and metrics for effective measurement of project success (medical writing)
- Project planning, risk mitigation and effective governance
- Create and deliver training plans for new team members on relevant topics in Scientific communication in the Medical Writing team
- Project specific client engagement for daily check-ins, status updates, issue management
- Identify areas of opportunities and efficiencies in the Scientific communication area
Technical skills requirements
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,
- Different types of Scientific communication (Abstracts, Manuscripts, Posters, Synopsis, Slide decks etc.)
- Resources for researching about scientific papers
- Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
- Self-motivated and self-driven to work against tight timelines
- Team player & ability to multi-task based on project needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Masters in Pharmacy or Pharmacology or similar
- 14+ years of working experience in Medical Writing/ Scientific communication areas
- Demonstrated ability to work well in an agile team environment
- A proven high-performer and team-player, with the ability to take the lead on projects.
