Roles & Responsibilities :
– Must have experience as a People Manager in leading teams, with proven proficiency in team building skills, people management, competency development
– Demonstrable track record of exceptional team management skills, including- but not limited to -team building and support, mentoring, review, appraisals, grievance handling, team activities, etc.
– Must possess extensive experience with the Service Delivery Model, and exposure to highly collaborative environments
– Must be able to handle multiple tasks, ongoing processes at one time and prioritize them as required with a focus on timely and quality delivery, while working on people development and growth at the same time
– Must have exceptional negotiation, interpersonal skills and relationship- building ability, with a strong experience in stakeholder management across levels and global teams
– An understanding of Product Life Cycle Management, SDLC, Agile/Scrum Approach would be an added advantage
– Knowledge of Pharma Regulatory/Clinical Landscape would be an added advantage
– Prior experience with Pharma Regulatory Systems / Tools (Submissions Documents, Regulatory Intelligence, Labelling & Artwork Management, Regulatory Information) would be an added advantage
– Must have excellent technology skills and a strong competence in basic computer applications like MS Office Suite / Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
– Must have outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels across all locations
– Must be able to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment, while showcasing exemplary individual output
– Must be open to feedback from peers, supervisor(s), and have the drive to consistently work on self-improvement
Role & Responsibilities :
– The People Managers are responsible for the personal and professional development of the employees assigned to them. It is their responsibility to provide constructive feedback and to mentor the employees so that they can develop in a more rounded manner and to let them actualize their potential, so that they can succeed in their respective roles.
– This helps increase the productivity and development of the people themselves, and subsequently the organization, while focusing on the overall professional growth of the resources and driving high engagement and job satisfaction.
– The People Manager concentrates on the personal development of skills, soft attributes, and how far the employee is fulfilled in his or her current role. The post of People Manager is akin to the HR manager who is responsible for the unit but differs in the respects of having a functional individual be the People Manager who can understand the functional and operational aspects as well as contribute to the personality development of the employee.
– Handling interpersonal conflicts as they arise and ensuring employees are motivated to move forward once a resolution is found.
– Leading employee training and making sure job responsibilities, expectations and company- wide goals are communicated clearly.
– Managing deadlines so employees don’t fall behind on responsibilities, leading to disruptions that could affect the entire company.
– Building company culture and facilitating employees to enter and exit the workplace in a healthy state of mind each day.
– Operationally manage the Product Scrum teams comprising of engineers (developers, testers and UI), BA and QA- engaged in design to delivery, including new projects, enhancements, upgrades, changes
– As a Front- Line Manager, responsible for business & organizational level communications to the team members, and guiding them leading meetings and one – on – one discussions
– Identify knowledge and skill gaps and arrange trainings to meet the needs identified therefore
– Mentor teams and have a succession plan in place
– Create a motivated & optimistic cultural environment within teams
– Encourage collaborations between teams and team members
– Identify and encourage star performers, while motivating those lagging behind to improve and grow alongside
– Manage the hiring requirements & conduct interviews with the support of HR to closure, and provide the onboarding support, as required
– Lead teams responsible for Product Development & its maintenance activities
– Lead teams to perform well on their KPIs and meet the business KRAs
– Hire, mentor, manage and develop engineers to create high performance teams
– Liaise with cross – departments teams like PMO, QA, Compliance, Implementation, etc. for Product/process related discussions
– Accountable to ensure that Industry standards/best practices are followed by the engineers
– Responsible for managing knowledge transfer, both outgoing and incoming
– Collaborate with the Head of Product Management and other stakeholders to understand their roadmaps and identify critical technical competencies needed
– Oversee planning and designing of software and web applications, including new programs, enhancements, and modifications
– Responsible for the development and performance management of the team
– Ensure that the teams execute and adhere to technical design reviews, code inspection, and test reviews
– Responsible for administrative functions such as SDLC/Agile documentations (Author, reviewer, or Approver) as per company SOPs
Eligibility :
– Master’s or equivalent Degree in any field
– Preferably full – time MBA / PGDM Education
– PMP or Equivalent Certification would be an added advantage
Experience : Between 8 and 12 Years of experience in handling People and Teams in the Technical Domain, for resources with varied levels of professional experience
