JOB DESCRIPTION Designation – Executive Depratment – Pharmacy Purchase Qualification -B. Pharm/M. Pharm Experience -3 years’ Unit – Aster CMI Hospital Bangalore Medicine Dispatch & Purchase Order Perform Narcotic & pharmacy related work. Prepare purchase order for medicine Offer specialist drug therapy advice to doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals within the hospital Inventory Management Supply and control of ward stocks Take care of issues related to the software Updation of the stocks received from the suppliers Management of short expiry medicaton Arrange medicines for patients which are not available in own pharmacy Duties and Responsibilities To Raise Purchase Requisitions to Purcahse Dept & follow up the procurement of Products consistently. To set Reorder Levels from time to time to avoid stock outs To ensure proper storage of all the products in the stores as per the regulations & individual product specification. To issue products to the respective depts as per FIFO on the basis of Dept Indents To receive the Stocks after verification &Complete the process of Stocks Inwarding (GRN)on daily basis & submit to finance Dept. To maintain the minimum variation in stocks wrt the Physical & system inventory . To monitor the Non Moving , Short expiry , Damage of drugs , their returns to the vendors with proper records (Gate Pass) , & follow up of credit notes as applicable. To Prepare & submit the Quality Indiactors before the 5th of every Month. To regulary communicate through mails will all depts of the Hospitals about Drugs & consumables in the Market & the alternative arrangements thereoff To complete the process of Product Recall as & when requested by the Company or directed by the PTC . To actively participate in the NABH & all future accredations . Going forward we are also venturing into Pathology business (Aster Labs) by April’2020 n Pharmacy business in Jan ’21 apart from 3 new hospitals in next 3 years in India. We have Centre of Excellence across various specialties like Neurosciences, Cardiac Sciences, Integrated Liver Care, Orthopaedics, Onco, Gastro, Nephro, etc. in most of our hospitals. In summary, most of our hospitals are tertiary and quaternary care setups. Kerala with 4 hospitals and 1 educational institute forms a cluster, Bangalore with 2 hospitals + 1 hospital in Kolhapur forms another cluster and Andhra+Telangana another cluster.
