Job description: Job Summary

As a Cloud Support Engineer of Spot PC, you will provide technical support and implementation services to customers and partners via phone, chat, and email. Our team, supports and manages virtual desktops in, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and Private Cloud using either Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Remote Desktop Services (RDS). In this role you will assist in management and support, typically using shared remote access to the customer’s environment. Virtual Desktops integrate with both public cloud services and traditional Windows and Active Directory components – both of which impact the choices made during deployment and subsequent management of the environment.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Windows and Active Directory components, including Active Directory users, groups, permissions, Organizational Units (OUs) and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  • Experience creating, configuring, and managing public cloud components including virtual networks, virtual machines, network security rules, security contexts, and cloud services. Vendor sponsored certifications for specific cloud skills, such as AZ103/104 & AZ140 are desired.
  • Familiar with services and components related to Azure Virtual Desktop, enterprise applications and service principals, Active Directory, AD Connect, Azure LogicApps, Azure Automation Accounts, and Azure Log Analytics are a plus.
  • Experience troubleshooting problems with complex implementations, including log review, service validation, and defect documentation
  • Experience as a System Administrator supporting multiple customers.
  • Ability to write and update PowerShell scripts a plus
  • Ability to use scripts or programming languages to call APIs to retrieve data or execute tasks
  • Experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL) or SQL
  • Knowledge and understanding of IIS, Application Pools and Certificates
  • Experience with implementing and troubleshooting FSLogix
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential and are utilized in communicating with customers, partners, and internal team members. Most interactions are conducted via web meeting/ screen share, so candidate must be able to guide the execution of steps remotely.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and managers in a team environment to share best practices, meet aggressive goals, and meet high quality standards.
  • Ability to work well with customers’ technical representatives under a variety of circumstances to best understand and meet customer expectations.


Minimum of 3-9 years of experience.
