What You Will Do Responsibilities and duties Lead a project from technical point of view and mentor the team members. Create schematic and review layout, BOM, Gerber files and create testing plans for the designs. Simulation, testing, and troubleshooting of designs, including bench testing and debugging using test equipment Perform necessary technical analysis Simulations on P spice, LT Spice, create technical review documents, update design files in OrCAD, PADs print and perform technical review with team. Create test plans and perform (or support test lab) necessary testing to validate change. Apply hands-on in-depth knowledge of test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers etc. Collaboration with other team members (including both hardware and software engineers) to agree system designs, drivers, algorithms, firmware, and protocols etc. Development of appropriate test hardware and procedures, both informal and formal, to prove the correct operation of hardware. Optimize designs for PCBs and flex circuits for density, cost, thermal issues, and other factors Review and approve the manufacturing documents for PCBA Identify root causes of issues, determines potential solutions, and evaluates them against requirements. Participate in task planning and estimating activities. Responsible for delivering his work in defined timelines while achieving product quality goals Documentation of work according to organization quality standards. Follows the company’s standards for product development and quality process and complies with quality management system procedures. Ensures the integrity and security of patient health information, company intellectual property, and confidential data Well versed with global work environment and ability to work with cross functional teams located across globe. Good team player with high level of commitment and responsibility. What You Need Experience/skills required Bachelor’s in electrical and Electronics Engineering. 5+ years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering. Experience in High Speed Board level Circuit design (analog/digital/power) and layout design of Multi layer board incorporating complex FPGAs, ASICs, CPLDs, PowerPC processors, High Speed memories etc. Strong technical knowledge and hands on expertise in circuit / schematic design, symbols creation, PCB layout preferably on Cadence OrCAD/Allegro tools. Experience and Hands on in Design and debugging circuits for memory interfaces such as SDRAM, DDR, EMMC, Nand Flash, Nor Flash, USB Experience in performing design simulations using PSpice, LT Spice, SI analysis tools. Experience with peripheral interfaces and protocols such as 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet, HDMI, USB, UART, MIPI, RS-232, RS485, I2C, SPI, USB, PARALLEL etc. Knowledge of board bring up, testing and debugging. Hands on with lab equipment like DSO, logic analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer etc. Experience in medical device and design for EMI/EMC. Knowledge on medical EE design standards will be a big plus. Familiar with Industry standards JEDEC, IPC, IEC standards. Goal Oriented, Ability to interact and work with Cross functional team (electrical, mechanical and operations) and external partners and suppliers to define and implement reliability activities and corrective actions. Experience on testing of complex electrical embedded systems Clear thinking and good documentation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
