We oversee product development at all stages: planning, designing, developing, and testing operating systems, compilers, routers, utilities, databases, embedded management and control devices, plus internet-related tools. What you’ll achieve As a member of Dell EMC E-Lab team, you will contribute to the testing and qualification of Dell EMC software and hardware solutions and 3rd party products. You will be responsible to install various operating systems, adopters, updates, and configure hosts within a SAN with multiple storage arrays. You will also integrate software from Dell EMC and verify interoperability and data consistency. As part of integration and interoperability, you will be responsible to develop and execute test suites, analyse the results, report their findings, and achieve resolution for any failed results. Duties may include developing and documenting best practices, generating product documentation, installing and administering multiple systems/environments and debugging and documenting issues found in product documentation. You will: Working in a team, cross-functionally, and with other business units and partners as required, guaranteeing delivery of best in breed infrastructure solutions, test execution, and documenting actions/results from lab activities. Develop and execute a test plan including test cases and lab configurations. Participate in test functionality review meetings. Troubleshoot test failures to determine if the issue is a test, product, or integration. Develop/document best practices on Dell EMC and other product solutions. Install and administer multiple systems/environments. Configure several of the Dell EMC or 3rd party vendor products deployed in the test configuration (i.e. Servers, Appliances, Ethernet/ FC/ FCoE switches, arrays). Debug as well as document issues found in the product documentation. Responds to customer escalations and drives resolution to complex customer issues. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Experience: 5-8 Years. Experience in SAN integration & QA Testing. Experience and knowledge of Dell EMC software and hardware as it relates to Experience on OS like Linux, Windows, VMware. Experience in FC, iSCSI, GigE, FCoE, Analyzers. Experience supporting Unisys Clearpath systems and Operating system Desirable Requirements Expertise in understanding of enterprise storage arrays, HBA’s, FC/GIGE/ethernet switch architecture, configuration, and management (zoning, fan-in / fan-out, LUN masking, etc), and relevant multipathing/failover and device driver technology Experience in troubleshooting Enterprise storage issues and root cause analysis Here’s our story now tell us yours Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
