Job description: The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health. PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders.

Project Brief:

PHFI introduced a virtual national-level program on “PHFI Masterclass: Clinical Grand Rounds and Journal Clubs” along with Sun Pharmaceuticals as an educational grant partner. PHFI will be imparting training to approximately 300 DM/DNB endocrinology trainees or practicing endocrinologists in India with this program. The live webinar sessions will be conducted every fortnightly (Friday/Saturday). The subscription period for students is 6 months providing an access to 6 CGRs and 6 JCs. This is a uniquely designed highly interactive comprehensive program with a focus on student-led presentation for great level of engagement. Students will get an opportunity to learn from the country leaders in the field. Students will be able to refine their clinical approach; improve their diagnostic accuracy and clinical presentation skills; will get most from patient interactions; able to interpret and apply research in day to-day clinical practice; able to enhance the fine art of refining thesis and publishing literature and will get to know the tips and tricks for final examination.

Deliverables:

  • Program coordination and all activities related to management of the project stakeholders.
  • Management and coordination of all components of PHFI Masterclass series online training program.
  • Serve as associate focal point for the program secretariat for communication with the Experts, Faculty, and Participants.
  • Play an integral Role in organizing and managing Expert Meetings; this involves human resource and logistical issues.
  • Support overall operations related to implementation of the program (i.e. invitations, enrollments, meetings and workshops, documentation, etc.)
  • Prepare and disseminate an advanced program implementation plan including critical key activities and milestones, time lines, resources requirement and ultilization plan for key components, structure/mechanism to identify bottlenecks, develop algorithms to keep track of process and progress of program.
  • Prepare and disseminate in-advance micro-plans for faculties and participants for perfect conduct of training sessions with seamless networking for real time coordination and communication between partners.
  • Coordinating with the experts and faculty and trainees to ensure that critical issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and conduct monitoring and feedback activities for quality assurance.
  • Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • Report on a day to day basis to the Project Manager regarding project and seek timely advice wherever necessary.
  • Contribute to writing documentation papers and reports.
  • Communication for program secretariat to communicate with renowned Experts and Faculty.
  • Play an integral role in organizing and managing content review meetings; this involves human resource and logistical issues.
  • Coordinating with the partners, sponsors, faculty and trainees to ensure that critical issues are addressed in a timely manner – Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • Conducting quality assurance activities.
  • Draft program progress reports, as well as any other reports as per the requirement of the program or as designated by Deputy Director /Project Manager.
  • Writing documentation papers and scientific reports.
  • Writing proposal and budgets.
  • Travel as and when required.
  • Any other task as assigned by the Deputy Director, Project Manager & Project PI.

Qualification:

  • Post graduate degree in Public Health/PGDHM/PGDPHM with Public Health Experience.

Experience:

Desirable:

  • Around 3-5 years of experience required.
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with willingness to travel at a short notice and able to manage workload as and when required.
  • Experience of conduction of training and development of training material, proposal writing, project management, experience of the liaison with the diverse stakeholder is desirable.
  • Person working in National level Training program in non-communicable disease (NCD’s) esp. in cardiovascular disease will be an added advantage.
