Job Description 5G, virtualization and software driven networks create dynamic architectures and new attack surfaces. Robust and resilient security must be maintained even when threat/vulnerability conditions keep changing. Nokia is recruiting security experts to analyze and test security robustness and resilience of its product and solution portfolio. This Job requires you to handle multiple aspects of security for Nokia products which have embedded software, hardware/firmware, OS/applications, 3rd party and open source components. You will go beyond standard suite of security testing tools and develop advanced security testing methods/scripts to create threat scenarios, detect vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation measures. This job provides you an opportunity to work with latest technologies and R&D experts to promote security within Nokia. As a member of security Center of Excellence (CoE) you will also participate in security incident/vulnerability investigations, root cause analysis and training/advising Nokia R&D community. Job Responsibilities & Competencies Detect critical security gaps that impact network security and data privacy. Threat modeling, architecture analysis, SAST/DAST testing and customized advanced testing are some of the activities Analyze status of compliance with requirements and standards. Verify how well networks implement applicable customer and global certification requirements Root cause analysis and incident response. Support Nokia Product Security Incident Response Teamsin their efforts to recreate problem scenarios in the lab and assess risk due to potential vulnerabilities. Training and consultation. Collaborate with global cross functional teams of experts to identify and build key security assets and tools. Adapt and learn new processes and tools to align with Nokia’s product security initiatives Experience & skills. Proven track record in the following areas: 7 or more years of advanced security testing, audits, and penetration testing. Experience in detecting vulnerabilities and gaps in implementing Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) in communication systems, networks and product portfolio. Expert knowledge of security architectures, networking products/software, protocols and services. Demonstrated experience in detecting vulnerabilities in 5G, virtualization and other emerging technologies. Knowledge of Nokia product portfolio Prior experience in configuring and setting up network elements with a focus on security. Hands-on expertise in in security hardening, traffic analysis. Recreate threat exploits in lab. Software skills to develop testing scripts. Experience in analyzing security of software, web applications, open source components. Prior experience in detecting potential zero-day vulnerabilities Demonstrated success in detecting security vulnerabilities in complex usage scenarios and recommending improvements for various systems and technologies. Expertise in using state of the art SAST/DAST tools. Prior experience in developing scripts and customize security testing techniques. Ability to conduct comprehensive security analysis of different traffic types (control, management, user), embedded software, hardware/firmware, OS/applications, 3rd party and open source components Prior experience or knowledge in conducting ethical hacking, Blue/Red team exercises Excellent analytical, documentation and presentation skills Self-motivated, team player and pays attention to details Qualifications Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, security engineering or equivalent Security certifications: Globally recognized certifications in network security, Cloud /Virtualization security, security testing auditing, ethical hacking Imagine creating technology that has the potential to change the world.
