Duties and Responsibilities 1.Medico-marketing High quality support to marketing and sales teams through providing inputs on strategic positioning of products Contribute to new product launches by quality and timely inputs and contribute to positioning through literature surveys, clinical trials and pre-launch customer perception mapping Responsive and proactively alert to issues related to competitor activities and facilitate effective and timely corrective actions Conduct local scientific educational programs that aim to satisfy the specific scientific needs of individual KOLs and Institutions . 2.KOL management Advocacy Establishes robust, long-term peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholder partners Actively engages with appropriate stakeholders on scientific topics to advance their understanding of the disease by sharing information and answering questions based on approved material within regulatory guidelines looks for opportunities to collaborate and build a value-based partnership addressing the HCPs therapeutic goals 3. Medical leadership Thorough knowledge of disease area (including pharmacotherapy), treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, customer strategies, regulations, and ethical guidelines applied to the pharmaceutical industry, solid understanding of GCP an industry code of practice. Interpretation of key scientific data and ability to translate this information to meet educational and research needs. Collect, analyze, and communicate fair-balanced information concerning therapeutic area, treatment options, emerging standards of care, and competitive intelligence, reviews scientific publications and address medical information inquires Provide effective clinical presentations to internal and external audiences 4.Compliance Offer valuable medical expertise in a compliant and ethical way 5. Approvals Review and /or approve promotional and non-promotional materials in accordance with internal procedures 6.Miscellaneous Provide clinical support to manufacturing and quality for sustaining commercial products e.g. resolution of quality concerns, evaluation of customer complaints Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language Ability to think strategically and communicate clearly Strong understanding of local medical practice and clinical decision making with regard to patient care (Understanding of healthcare systems affecting patient care) Thorough knowledge of medicine (including pharmacotherapy), treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, customer strategies, regulations, and ethical guidelines applied to the pharmaceutical industry, solid understanding of GCP an industry code of practice. Interpretation of key scientific data and ability to translate this information to meet educational and research needs. In-depth knowledge of target therapy area Proficiency in digital tools Qualifications MBBS,MD Graduate with experience or Post-graduate degree in Medicine (Pharmacology, Medicine etc).
