Job Description:

Janssen, the pharmaceutical company of Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Program Manager- Value & Access based out of Mumbai.

The Program Manager- Value & Access will be part of the Market Access Team of Janssen India and will be responsible for leading the identification, development, and communication of the Value proposition for Janssen portfolio across key payers, decision makers and other stakeholders across India. In addition, the individual will be also driving value beyond convention clinical science by developing innovative health economic models as well as identifying potential partnership opportunities to maximize access.

Key Responsibilities:

Value Identification & Communication

  • Lead all value disseminations efforts to internal and external teams. Identify, create and deliver value propositions of Janssens therapies
  • Develop and submit proposals as well as take accountability towards delivering access plans through a project management approach
  • Understanding the access barriers, unmet needs and gaps within the reimbursed and payer landscape of India to create and deliver standardized and customized value messaging

Value Models/HEOR

  • Lead all Health economic evaluations, models for Janssen products for maximum private and public market access and patient impact
  • Identify and innovate in the area of evidence dissemination by creating innovative tools and models beyond conventional thinking
  • Understand key affordability and evidence barriers restricting access and develop innovative models/solutions which can help in addressing them
  • Drive & Shape outcome based thinking for Janssen therapy through close collaboration between internal and external stakeholders

Value Partnerships

  • Survey & Understand the access landscape, Identify key access pain points across the patient journey including diagnosis, referral and treatment and create proposals and approaches to address pain points
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Field Team to identify and maximize areas of opportunity for Janssens portfolio
  • Create stakeholder maps, strategies and generate insights towards creation of new payer partnership models/innovative access solutions

Win-for Patient approach

  • Work closely with the Pricing, Patient Access Solution and Field Market Access teams to better sync objectives and priorities towards the common goal of improving access for patients
  • Extensively collaboration with internal cross-functional teams especially Medical Affairs, Brand teams, Franchise & Reimbursed Market Sales, Legal and Compliance to ensure uniformity in thinking and strategy
  • Tracking the execution and develop key metrics which help understand impact made by value communications/models to market access

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum Post-graduate degree required. PHD/DPharm/MBBS/BDS preferable

Experience and Skills:

  • 3-6 years’ experience of working in consulting firm or Pharma Company and preferably 2 years in a Market Access Role
  • Good understanding of the Indian Healthcare system, health policy, market dynamics as well as fundamental understanding of the Indian Pharma Market.
  • Technical skills pertaining to Health Economics and simplifying complex information preferred
  • Understanding of access models, building value models and identifying needs of the Indian access environment
  • Strong communication skills to lead internal cross-functional teams and partner with diverse external stakeholders across projects

Other:

Proficient in English Language. Good Project tracking, PowerPoint and Excel skills
