The primary responsibility of the Team is to enforce data governance of Master Data through being diligent first level reviewers for the raw materials and the recipes.

Critical documentation like Ingredient Labels, Material Safety Data Sheets and Product Safety reports are generated from raw material and recipe composition – any error in the above process can lead to Regulatory/ Product Safety non- compliance and legal issues that can lead to Brand image tarnish and financial losses.

Core PLM Function:

  • Data governance of first level review of CP Raw materials and Recipes within a turnaround time of 72 hours
  • Provide Security Access roles to PDP/DMS /PPM system with due diligence
  • Route Human Use Protocols (HUP) through SAP-DMS to the correct reviewers; support the process in Veeva as Admin. Route Adverse Event (AE) for all HUP studies to Pharmacovigilance team who will then perform an evaluation.
  • Drive Special PLM projects and conduct System Testing to ensure compliance and optimize systems

Main Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:

Stakeholder Management: Support to Scientists/Plant personnel/Reviewers

  • Provide technical support and procedural guidance to 2000+ English-speaking PDM end-users via phone calls, emails and instant messages
  • Serve as a Power User for the SAP PDM and DMS systems
  • Support trouble-shooting system related issues, raise Incident Report (IR) with IT and resolve issues through system testing
  • Provide back-up support for co-workers during vacation or other absences to ensure seamless operation of the group

Ensure continuous improvement of PDM system

  • Perform root cause analysis and System Testing to resolve issues and keep system compliant and updated
  • Perform bi-annual testing of PDM /DMS procedures during System upgrades to ensure system integrity
  • Support database updates (E verisk) and System upgrades (S4 cloud platform)

Train and empower Team and Customers through high quality Training and diligent monitoring

  • Ensure integration of updated information into existing Master Documents – Training Modules, Learnings, Case History – as source of Truth for reference and remain compliant with Quality Documentation.
  • Implement Training of Originators / Reviewers/ Stakeholders through Classroom / online trainings and monitor progress to ensure understanding and compliance
  • Create Power trainers globally to leverage PDM power users to impart efficiently and effective PLM skills

Track metrics and present periodic reports to Management

  • Provide quarterly updates through quality reports to Management and implement recommendations and solutions to keep system relevant

Implement EOHS/Quality/ IGTC initiatives and ensure implementation of cultural driver

  • Implement standards of Safety (EOHS) and Quality to ensure audit findings are closed and compliance is an attitude and commitment
  • Participate and contribute in various initiatives of IGTC that drive the spirit of Innovation, Fostering Experimentation and promoting Teamwork and Collaboration

Building Future Ready Agile Organization:

Spearhead PLM projects for system improvisation and incorporate futuristic trends

  • Drive deeper understanding of Technical Fundamentals by independent management of PLM projects
  • Imbue leadership development through collaboration, mentoring,learning new skills and tools and partnering with Data Analytics, Predictive Innovation Teams to be at the forefront of change

Required (Education, Knowledge required, Language skills, etc):

Professional Qualifications & Training Essential:

  • Minimum 2 yrs of work experience.
  • Post graduate in Pure sciences (Chemistry, Biology)/ Pharmacy/ Technology (Cosmetics)
  • Strong mastery of chemistry concepts required
  • Knowledgeable in raw materials used in consumer products preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Sound computer skills in various tools : mastery in SAP, Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs) preferred
  • Solid Business Presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills: Articulate, professional and friendly personality. Courteous with strong customer service orientation and follow up skills. Good listening and responding skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous SAP experience preferred
  • Experience in new product development and research & development activities (specifically consumer products) preferred
  • Previous experience in database management / system administration activities and concepts preferred
