Job description: MBBS with AFIH, 5+ Years of experience as Medical Officer

A German based manufacturing company at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh is now looking for Medical Officer KEY ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provide specialist knowledge on assessment of risk from substances hazardous to health and evaluate control measures in conjunction with Safety & Environment Officer. 2. Maintain liaison with external organizations and professional bodies on matters of occupational health and hygiene and related issues. 3. Responsible for design and implementation of Occupational Health monitoring programs and participate in development of Occupational Health & Safety strategies. 4. Occupational health and hygiene sampling (Occupational exposure monitoring) in workplace including dust, gas, mist, vapor, light, radiation, noise and vibration. 5. Conduct and recommend control strategies based on ergonomics studies on work posture. 6. Maintain survey equipment including calibration schedules. 7. Evaluate effectiveness of control measures which may affect employee health including personal protective equipment, ventilation and exhaust equipment. 8. Interpret results of surveys to assess degree of risk and determine requirements for remedial action. 9. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain required records as well SMETA compliance. 10. Handle first aid and emergencies arising out of accident, sickness etc. Qualification MBBS with AFIH (Mandatory) Min Experience-5 Years Familiar in using MS Office applications Soft Skills Integrity, Respect & Responsibility Good communication skills and fluency in English,Telugu Presentable & courteous Proactive Team player
