Join our Group Treasury team as an experienced Manager and help provide a range of finance services to supporting Macquarie’s operating areas and management while being part of an inclusive and empowering culture. In this role you’ll be responsible to ensure operational risks are managed from a controls assurance perspective. You’ll perform control assessments across functions in the reporting process while, developing tools, templates and training materials as well as supporting regulatory reporting subject matter experts to fulfill their control framework and policy requirements. You’ll gather requirements and business context, work closely with regulatory reporting and Group Treasury subject matter experts as well as the data team to document governance, structure and the key controls of the end-to-end reporting process. You’ll also manage a portfolio of book with ownership of deliverables to the immediate risk team and wider regulatory reporting team. To be successful in this role, you would preferably possess regulatory knowledge and experience, with a strong understanding of control points of the reporting process. You’ll have experience in developing and implementing control frameworks. You’ll have change management experience across functional teams throughout both project and change delivery and be a self-starter who enjoys helping others solve problems and motivate the wider team. You’ll have strong attention to detail, be proactive and have the ability to see multiple tasks through to completion. You’ll be highly motivated and organised with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with team members and key internal clients. Your technical skills and qualifications will include a tertiary degree in Business/Commerce, a CA or CPA qualification, with 10+ years’ post-qualification experience. Experience in the financial services/investment banking industry would be required. Previous exposure to internal/external audits, risk management and projects within large financial institutions is advantageous.
