Job Description: Job Title Lead – QA Engineering-ETL Data Testing and Test Automation – SDET We are looking for an outstanding functional and automation QA engineer with strong experience in ETL Data testing and test automation. The Purpose of This Role We are looking for a QA candidate who is experienced in Quality engineering, can constantly research and suggest latest technologies, independently troubleshoot technical issues, and work with teams of developers, and engineering project managers who take pride in providing solutions. You’ll be involved in all phases and layers of the application and have a direct impact on the customer experience. The Value You Deliver We work in an agile software development environment and are building applications to move towards continuous delivery where every code change is thoroughly tested by triggering automated test cases and is considered ready to be deployed if we choose so. We ensure highest product quality and end user satisfaction by conducting the through testing. The Skills that are Key to this role Technical / Behavioral Good understanding about SDLC, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) concepts Experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, coordinating with team members in different locations and test reporting and closure Should be very comfortable in writing complex SQL queries and perform data analysis Working knowledge of Relational Database Management System with Oracle, Netezza Very good experience in test automation using scripting languages like Unix, Shell and Python Strong analytical, technical skills to be able to address complex issues. Able to review defects on regular basis and perform root- cause analysis Experience in working in an Agile software development environment Implementing QA best practice acquired through prior experience for QA process improvement Must maintain seamless communication and coordination with Partners, Business Analysts, developers and peers for completion of various testing deliverables High level of commitment, initiative, vision and enthusiasm The Skills that are good to have Experience in reporting tools like – Power BI, OBIEE etc. is an advantage Knowledge in AWS and Snowflake How Your Work Impacts the Organization The Software Engineering Chapter Area is dedicated to building and implementing high quality solutions for Enterprise Technology Group.
