Our Digital Team partners with business units and clients to develop software and technical innovation. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative software. Partner with the best The Drilling Services Product and Technology Team is looking for a self-contained, motivated and structured Electrical Engineer ( Hardware & Firmware) to join our team. This will be a unique opportunity to join a cross discipline team working with state-of-the-art technologies in the energy development industry. The position is based in Pune, India. As a Lead Electrical Engineer , you will be responsible for: Working primarily in Electrical engineering in product development, design, sustaining, or R&D. Working on projects of moderate complexity. Has moderate impact on product cost, performance, manufacturing methods/standardization. planning and conducting research, design and development of standard engineering assignments. Selecting engineering techniques to solve problems and make sound design recommendations. Assessing results for applicability, validity and conformance to specifications. Having Good embedded C programming experience on microcontrollers (8/16/32 bit architecture Having experience in low level driver development on various microcontrollers/DSPs Developing and integration of new embedded software systems for our downhole drilling tools. Having experience with digital signal processing Having experience with measurement and control technologies Programming experiences on communication protocols / bus technologies such as CAN, SPI, UART, I2C Debugging and problem-solving ability, troubleshooting embedded systems using Simulators Having understanding and maintaining existing firmware Analyzing of digital circuitries and technical datasheets Working experience with at-least one software version control and defect tracking software (e.g., SVN / GitHub) Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Having experience of C or C++ programming experiences Having experience in both hardware ( 75%) and firmware (25%) Having experience of Digital signal processing Having programming experiences on following bus technologies: CAN, SPI, UART Having experience of Measurement and control technologies Having experience in using measurement- and laboratory equipment Having experience of analysis of digital circuitries and technical datasheets Having experience with Microcontroller interface. Being expert in Analog & Digital circuit design. Having good knowledge of Communication protocol RS232, SPI, I2C Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout. Good experience with Prototype bring up. Having Handling lab equipment: Oscilloscope, logicanalyzer, Multimeter, LCR etc. Having good knowledge of Component selection & obsolescence management Having good knowledge of various EMC/EMI control methods and implementation at PCB/component level .Having knowledge of design documentation. Basic awareness of firmware development : board bring up, peripheral testing. Experience in Embedded C.
